We don't go to the doctor for his check up until Monday but I'm assuming he weighs right at 20 pounds. He wears 12 month clothes, a size 4 diaper and a size 5 shoe.
Reece is walking! Well, most of the time. If he wants to get somewhere quickly he will crawl. He can walk fairly long distances too. He will walk from one room to another and down the hallway upstairs. We went to Marbles for his birthday today and he was walking around with the big kids. He didn't want to play in the baby areas, just the regular kid areas.
His sleeping is slowly improving. He can sleep through the night and has for a week or so. Of course he's waking up at 5:30...we'll work on that part later. Ha! He takes two 30 minute naps during the day. Reece is getting better in the car too. He still doesn't love it but he doesn't scream the entire time either.
Reece is a busy boy! He rarely sits still unless he's eating or occasionally reading a book. His favorite books are touch and feel and lift the flap books. He loves to throw a ball and roll his cars across the floor. Lately he has liked putting things into the oven in the play kitchen, closing the door and pushing the buttons on it (like mommy does). He also likes to take out the tools and bang the hammer on things or try to put the screwdriver into a hole. Reece is very observant. He will watch you do something and then try to copy what you do.
Reece's favorite food is still cheese. Ha! He will eat pretty much anything but loves bagels, mashed potatoes, mandrain oranges, frozen peas and hot dogs. We have been mixing breast milk and whole milk for a few weeks now and he hasn't had a problem with it at all. He's even had a few bottles of just whole milk and chugged them down.
Hailey can still get him to laugh the most. Reece absolutely loves his big sister. He likes for daddy to put him to bed and mommy to read to him. He has finally chosen a lovey. He chose a beany Yankees bear that we've been using as a decoration in his room. I took it down to use at his birthday party and he wouldn't let it go.
