Hailey is Three!

So I'm a few weeks late with this post...such is life lately. Hailey turned three on March 8.
Her birthday breakfast before church. She was so excited that we sang to her again!
She is the spunkiest, funniest, smartest, most caring little girl.
Hailey loves to be outside! Whether it's playing in the yard,

going for a walk,
"exploring" somewhere new,
the circus
going to the farm,

beach, (she's already asking when we're going this year)

or fair.

The girl is up for anything!
She definitely has a mischievous streak and keeps us on our toes.

She LOVES animals and would still prefer to watch anything with animals rather than people, play with stuffed animals over baby dolls, and can tell you specific breeds of dogs, fish and other crazy things you never knew.

Her imagination baffles me everytime. She can usually be found playing make believe with her stuffed animals. She loves to "go to the moon" in her "rocketship"

but is getting into dress-up too.

She loves to do crafts and play with play-doh.
She loves to read and be read to. Our days just wouldn't be complete without reading 1001 books. And I love it!

She is extremely independent!

At three years old she weighs, 30.5 pounds and is 37 inches tall (both right at the 50%). Her favorite foods are cheese, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, chocolate chip mini muffins and any kind of snack food. She still won't drink milk and will only drink water out of her water bottle or Mommy's cup. Hailey is still our early riser, often waking up before 6:00. Naptime has started to be a struggle on some days but most times she still sleeps about 2 hours. Her favorite shows to watch are Curious George, Daniel Tiger and The Lion King movie. She has recently started LOVING My Little Ponies but doesn't like to watch the show. Her favorite day of the week would definitely be Fridays when Daddy is home and takes her on a breakfast date. They go to Chick-Fil-A and to the airport overlook. She still prefers Mommy to put her to bed, but Daddy gets her up in the mornings. It is so exciting to see what new things she will learn and pick up on everyday. She never ceases to amaze me.

Happy Birthday Hailey Grace! Our days wouldn't be nearly as much fun without you! We love you!
