Aquarium

The one thing we wanted to do in Atlanta (besides see my sister, brother in law and Caleb) was go to the Georgia aquarium. Hailey loves all things ocean and sea animals and we knew she would have the time of her life. Ryan's mom has taken her to the small one in Charlotte a few times and she talks about it all the time so we knew this would be so worth it. We actually took Hailey to this aquarium two years ago (she was one) when Mary Katherine got married. Here she is for perspective.

The first thing we wanted to do when we got there was find out about the dolphin show. Unfortunately they were only doing once that day, in the afternoon, and we knew we wouldn't be able to see it. But luckily they were doing a "dolphin training session" that we would be able to catch.
It was so cool. They told and showed you how they train the Dolphins and they still did a few tricks. Hailey loved it! And now plays dolphin training with her stuffed animals at home :)

After that we just tried to keep up with Hailey. ;) she wanted to see everything really quick so we had to pace her.
She loved going in the penguin habitat. We actually did this twice.
Then saw the beluga whales
Touched a starfish (she really wanted to touch things in the "tide pool" and they used to have one for kids but took it out. Thankfully this was still there
And saw daddy's favorite the cuddle fish
Hailey loved the different kinds of jellyfish and still talks about their "long tentacles"
After that we visited the tropical section of the aquarium which had the whale sharks. She was super excited about those but it was really crowded and loud do I don't think she enjoyed it as much as she could have.

Hailey's favorite part of the day turned out to be the dive show. Three scuba divers went into the huge tank and talked and answered questions from underwater! I didn't get a picture of it but it was so cool!
After that we got Hailey some lunch (they were running a deal that you got a free lunch for every child's ticket. How perfect!)
Then we had to check out the Penguins one more time. At that point it was getting close to nap time and Reece was pretty done with being in the carrier so we headed back to my sister's house.
I know Hailey had the best time and still talks about it daily! I love making memories with my family!
