12 month Dr Update

For anyone wondering, we had Hailey's 12 month doctor's appointment last week. She weighs 20 lbs. 9 oz (65%) and is 28 3/4 in. long (30%). Still a shortie! Her head is still small too. It is  only 43 cm. (15%). The doctor was impressed with Hailey's mobility and thought is was funny how she wanted to explore the room instead of sit on the table. She was also impressed with how much she is talking and mimicking words.

She had to get two shots and a finger prick. She, of course, hated the shots but did surprisingly well with the finger prick. I was holding her and she just watched the nurse stick her. She didn't cry or scream or anything. She got a little unhappy when the nurse was squeezing her finger to get the blood but other than that was fine. She HATED the band aid and chewed on her finger until she got it off.
