Pumpkin Patch

This weekend we visited the pumpkin patch. We went to one close by our house and they had so much to do! There was a corn pit, big hay slide, animals, hay ride and pumpkin picking and a corn maze (which we didn't do). We even saw some neighbors/friends there! Which we weren't expecting but we had a blast hanging out together and seeing the kids experience fall together.

Hailey says her favorite was the corn pit. It took her a few minutes to warm up to it because it was so deep that it was hard to walk in, but then she didn't want to get out!

Our friend, Linsley, took this one. What a perfect shot!
After convincing Hailey to get out of the corn pit, we looked at the animals and played on the hay slide and tunnel. Here are Ryan and Hailey being silly.
My clowns! Linsley took this one too.
Then we went on the hayride! Hailey just wanted to throw hay, which wasn't quite going to happen. We tried to keep a tight reign on her, but I have to admit, the people behind us did get a few mouthfuls of hay...
our group waiting for the hayride. I love that these three kids (and more) will grow up playing together Linsley and I are both expecting babies in February.
Linsley actually caught us all smiling!
Then the part we came for...pumpkins! Hailey had so much fun finding the perfect one.

Then I tried to take her picture...Not quite what I was going for...

Really Mom?!
As we were waiting for the tractor to take us back to the main area to leave, Hailey asked to sit in the driver's seat. She immediately tried to turn the key and drive! Too soon little girl!

We had so much fun with friends at the pumpkin patch! I can't wait to see what else we can get into this fall!
