Apple Picking

On Sunday we went apple picking with Grams, Das (my parents), Julie, Trey, Tucker and Mack. Hailey was so excited and talked about it constantly all day on Saturday. Sunday morning we went to church and then left for the mountains. Every time we stopped on the way there (and we stopped a few times) Hailey asked if we were at apple picking yet. Needless to say she was thrilled when we actually arrived!
She and Mack got to ride in the wagon and Trey got the job of pulling the very heavy wagon...

 Of course Miss Priss had to carry a basket some too.

All of the kids were dying to pick the apples so we stopped at some trees that were loaded down with Honey Crisp ones and let them go to town.

Of course they had to sample their loot!

 I think Mack ate more than he picked! He was happy as long as he had an apple in his hand.

They also got some entertainment watching Das climb the trees for the apples way up high

We tried to get a picture of all three of them but you see how well that worked...Hailey and Mack didn't want to give up their apples for a picture!

After we had picked enough we went on a hay ride around the farm. The kids were all so tired but loved seeing the trees and animals. I tried to get a selfie with Hailey but she was not having it.

Before we left we got some apple donuts and Tucker showed off his muscles picking up pumpkins for Hailey. It was cute

We had a blast apple picking! Now let the apple-baking begin!
