More Christmas Fun

So I know it's January but we got back from our Christmas travels a few days ago and this is the first chance I'm getting to catch up. So here is the rest of our Raleigh Christmas fun.

We took Hailey to see Christmas lights at two houses that we had heard about. She loved it! They were both synced to music thru a radio station and she loved hearing the Christmas songs and seeing the many, many decorations.
And here is my Christmas cutie reading her stuffed animals a story.
Hailey came down with another cold/low fever the last few days before we left for Charlotte so we didn't get to do a few of the other things that I wanted. We spend a lot of time snuggling, reading and watching Curious George instead. Oh well...I just didn't want her sick on Christmas.
We decided to celebrate our Christmas here in Raleigh the Saturday before Christmas because we planned to leave on Monday and wanted Hailey to have a chance to play with her new toys before we left. We decided to do a stocking and three gifts for her each year because she gets so many gifts from our families. It's really made us think carefully about what we buy for her and get things that will be fun for her. This year one of her presents was a barn and farm animals. Our neighbor has one that she loves to play with and with her love for animals we thought it would be a hit.
Well...she liked it but her new Lion King stuffed animals took the prize this year. I was able to find her a Nala, Timon and Pumba (she already had Simba). Those have definitely been her favorite between her love of the movie and her love of stuffed animals. Nala has gotten LOTS of snuggles.
We've also had a lot of fun with the window markers that were in her stocking!
After we opened up her Christmas presents it started snowing! Snow on "Christmas"! (well, our Christmas anyways). There were some pretty big flakes coming down. Of course it didn't stick but it was fun to see anyways.

Did you notice Nala had to come outside in the snow?! And that my coat almost didn't zip over the baby Reece bump? Ha! He's getting bigger! It's crazy to think that next Christmas we'll have TWO kids!
