Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July! We had so much fun celebrating America's birthday today because Ryan was off of work!

Last night we had our Life Class (Sunday School class) over for dinner and a Bible Study so Hailey wore her 4th of July dress for everyone.

Today we celebrated the 4th with donuts for breakfast! Someone was a fan!

Then we went to the park before everyone else got there!

We went to the airport observation park to play too! We'd never been before but it is so neat. They have a little play area, play runway, picnic area, and deck with benches to sit and watch the planes from. We will definitely go back. Someone wasn't real interested in the planes but loved walking around.

Then we saw our friends off that were leaving for a mission trip to Ethiopia today. They wanted to take Hailey with them since she fit in the carry-on luggage compartment but we had to say no. :)

After Hailey's nap we played outside in the sprinkler and pool! Hailey did not like the sprinkler. She wanted nothing to do with it after running through the water once. But she did warm up to playing in her baby pool. She loved "cooking" in it. :)

Now it's not even 8:00 and Hailey is asleep so Ryan and I get to enjoy celebrating the anniversary of our engagement 7 years ago. Wow, that seems like a long time! Look how far we've come! What's really sad is that we won't be watching any fireworks this year like we did 7 years ago. My, how a baby changes things. Maybe next year we'll get to go see fireworks as a family!
