Wonderful Wednesday

I know that's a cheesy title but it really was...Hailey was in a great mood all day (none of the 2 year old tantrums we've been having as of late) and I got a lot accomplished plus had a lot of time to play. It was a win all around!

This morning I put her hair in pig tails and I couldn't resist a picture. And yes she does have on two different socks because little miss couldn't decide if she wanted Ariel or Belle on her slipper socks and had to have one of each...

Hailey is really getting into playing with her jewelry. She will often just put it in and out of her purse or a box but loves to put on the necklaces too.

I've been trying to do more art projects with Hailey so today we filled in a heart with torn paper. She LOVED the glue stick and didn't not want to part with it after we were done. She didn't even care that her fingers got sticky which is major lately.
Notice how she's stick clutching the beloved glue stick
We colored a little,

and then did our current favorite, window clings! Hailey loves to play with the different window clings. We put them on the front door as we're waiting for Daddy to come home, the windows in the play room and we use them on cookie sheets in the car on long trips for entertainment. She has a few different sets: snowflakes, ladybugs and cupcakes. I also got a few heart/valentine ones from the Target dollar bins for February. I love them because they're not messy, don't tear easily, won't mess up her clothes or the windows and practice fine motor skills all at the same time. (the former teacher would be the one to mention fine motor skills, I know)

We also got to play outside this afternoon, although I didn't get any pictures of that...

That was our wonderful Wednesday. What about yours?

  1. Super fun. My daughters just tear window clings apart after about ten minutes. Not sure why.

    :)

Love the art project! Will have to do that come Valentine's as an extra, Leiana LOVES art projects.

We had a pretty good Wednesday too, mostly it consisted of going to the library, reading books, and playing with legos (and, apparently, it was the day in which everyone I know really wanted to either video chat or talk on the phone... LOL)
