Pumpkin Patch

We had this great plan to go visit a pumpkin patch with some of our neighbors and their kids this weekend. They had hay rides, pumpkins and all kinds of fun stuff to do. We were so looking forward to it; and then Hailey had a fever of 102 on Friday. Boo! So we decided that even though she wasn't running a fever on Saturday, we didn't need to have her out around other kids and getting over-tired at the pumpkin patch.

She may not have on her adorable pumpkin shirt because it was too hot, but at least we have a cute chevron pumpkin bow!
Sunday afternoon Hailey woke up from her nap after church and was just cranky. Nothing was making her happy; she wasn't running a fever, just didn't want to do anything. So we decided to brighten the day by running over to a little pumpkin patch not far from our house. It wasn't the one that we had planned to go to before, and it was 80 degrees which made it feel a little wrong to pick a pumpkin, but we went anyways.

Hailey loved it! She just kept walking around trying to pick up all of the pumpkins. We kept hearing "Heavy. Oooph!" It was precious.

She loved these little gourds more than the pumpkins. It was the weirdest thing.

picture taking with the scarecrow didn't go so well

Hailey didn't want to miss any of the pumpkins.

We tried to get a family picture at the end, but someone just wanted to explore. Oh well!
